16. "Cruzel, " Manna restarted the tale, "began to make his way to Illeander after he was expelled from Nentass by his king

17. They all nodded in agreement as Manna changed course to bear down on the stricken vessel and its attackers

19. Saldon and Halon leaned on the opposite side of the boat to counterbalance the gunwale that was nearly underwater, but Manna was skilled in racing boats and there was never a real threat of capsizing

48. Saldon frowned at Manna for a second and seeing Flesh’ailer’s hesitation, moved toward the snake and put his hand out as if to grasp the snake’s neck

63. Half way around, curiosity gained the better of Manna and he asked, “Why are you showing all this to us now?”

66. When he was sure Manna was asleep he walked over to Halon and they spoke in hushed voices

73. Manna and Saldon were soon asleep, and Halon began to piece together the next operation

75. Saldon clambered to the highest point and attempted to lean out over the water, to counterbalance the boat, as Manna released the mainsail slowly and measuredly, bringing the boat into their control once more

77. After an hour of night, Manna awoke and joined the half-Elf

78. They discussed the plans Halon had made and Manna swore his allegiance to the cause and promised any help he could provide, wherever needed

79. As they sailed nearer to the beach, it was as Manna had described it

80. Manna could hold it no longer and was physically sick at the edge of what had once been the street

88. Seeing his chance to dispose of one of the men, the creature lunged a claw at Saldon’s head and Manna leapt before it, slicing deep into the creature’s wrist

89. The Demon hit out at Manna and caught him under the arm, flinging him across the cave and landing on Balzar’s bed, destroying the flimsy frame

90. Saldon and Manna drew themselves to a stop and drew their weapons, surrounding the offending bush
